Day 1: Entebbe Arrival
You are picked up from Entebbe International Airport and
transferred to your appointed hotel in Entebbe. You may choose
to dine at one of the restaurants within the vicinity. Explore
the lush Entebbe Botanical Gardens established in 1898, home
to over 300 varieties of exotic plant species, abundant
birdlife, black and white colobus, and vervet monkeys.

Day 2: Lake Mburo National Park (4.5 hour drive)
Depart for Lake Mburo National Park with a stopover at the
Uganda Equator for a photo opportunity at the centre of the
World. Lake Mburo National Park is renowned for its impressive
biodiversity, sheltering almost seventy mammal species and
over 300 avian species in its forests, swamps and grasslands.
The spectacular landscape features open plains of savanna
interrupted by rocky ridges, forested gorges and lush dense
woodland.

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
07:00 After breakfast, checkout and enjoy a game drive
spotting zebra, eland, impala, waterbuck, topi, buffalo,
hippo, duiker, bushbuck, klipspringer, oribi, reedbuck,
leopard and crocodiles. Depart for Buhoma, Bwindi Impenetrable
Forest National Park with a lunch stop enroute. Arrive late
afternoon and check into your appointed lodge for dinner &
overnight.

Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - Gorilla Tracking
Arise early for a hearty breakfast to give you the energy
needed for gorilla tracking. By 8:00am, report to the ranger
station for registration and briefing by your assigned ranger.
The guides will take you through the bush, pushing your way
through the undergrowth, to track the gorillas. (This trek can
take from 30 minutes to 5-6 hours). A reasonable degree of
fitness is required, as well as sturdy walking shoes. Sit in
the forest among the gorillas, listening to them 'talk' to one
another, and marvel at the sheer size of the dominant male,
the Silverback.

includes Batwa pygmy culture, banana brewery and Mukono

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park - Kazinga Channel Launch
Cruise
Wake up by 8:00. After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth
National Park via Ishasha, with a chance of spotting
elephants, buffaloes, waterbuck, hartebeest, kob and even the
big cats. Arrive at Mweya Safari lodge on time for lunch. 3:00
PM After lunch, take an afternoon launch cruise. The boat trip
along the Kazinga Channel provides a memorable game viewing
experience with hippos, birds and other river wildlife
including buffalo, elephant and prolific birdlife.

Day 6: Fort Portal - Toro Kingdom
After breakfast, head for a game drive before departing for
Fort Portal. Journey through verdant country, tea estates and
coffee plantations. Make a stop at the Uganda Equator and
Kasese town before proceeding to your appointed lodge in the
Crater Lake district and seat of the Toro kingdom. (2.5-hour
drive)

Day 7: Chimpanzee Tracking - Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, head for Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest
National Park, home to the highest density of primates in
Africa. Although the highlight is the habituated chimpanzees,
the treetops teem with monkeys including: red-tailed monkey,
L'Hoest's monkey, grey-cheeked mangabey, red colobus and black
and white colobus monkeys. Over 300 bird species and 250
butterfly species are also found here.
Optional Activities: Visit Toro kingdom,
tea/vanilla/coffee plantations, Toro Golf Course, bird the
Bigodi wetland

Day 8: Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National Park with
a lunch break in Hoima Town (5-6 hour drive). Check in at
Paraa or Twiga Lodge. Stretching from the shores of Lake
Albert, Murchison Falls is Uganda's largest National Park. The
Nile River flows through the middle creating the impressive
Murchison Falls. The landscape features dense rainforest,
undulating savannah and diverse abundant wildlife.

Wildlife: Lions, antelope, waterbucks,
hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, elephants, Rothschild-Giraffes,
and numerous primates including chimpanzees

Day 9: Murchison Falls - Game Drive & Launch Cruise
5:45 Wake up for morning Game Drive or optional shoebill
encounter at the delta. Spot elephants, buffaloes, giraffe,
Uganda Kob, Abyssinian Hornbill, Grey Kestrel, Martial Eagle,
leopards and lions. 2:00 PM After lunch, enjoy a 3-hour launch
cruise from Paraa to the base of the Falls. Spot Pied
Kingfisher, Fish Eagle, African Darter, hippos, enormous
crocodiles, and possible rare shoebill sighting. Base location
is where Ernest Hemingway crash-landed and survived hippos and
crocodiles.
Optional: Guided night safari to spot
nocturnal predators like Lions, Leopards, Hyenas, and
amazing Night Jar birds. 2-hour nocturnal game drive using
spotlights.

Day 10: Top of The Falls, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Return to
Entebbe
09:00 After breakfast, check out and visit the top of the
falls where the Nile at its narrowest point surges through a
7-metre cleft to a thunderous cauldron. Marvel at the rainbow
smoke as it cascades 40 metres downstream. Depart for Entebbe
via Masindi with stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. After
lunch, rhino tracking at home to approximately 40 southern
white rhinos. The sanctuary offers shoebill tracking,
canoeing, bird watching, and night walks.
Wildlife at Ziwa: Uganda kobs, oribi, bush
bucks, water bucks, and over 300 bird species. The
prehistoric-looking shoebill stork can almost always be seen
here.

Day 11: Departure
Depart for Entebbe International Airport to catch your return
flight. Depending on time, you may wish to pick up souvenirs
at the Crafts Market in Entebbe and enjoy lunch before your
return flight.
